From strongest to weakest. Three cards per player, ranked A-K-Q down to 2 (A-2-3 is usually the second-highest sequence).
Three cards of the same rank. Three Aces beat everything.
Three consecutive cards of one suit (straight flush).
Three consecutive cards of mixed suits (straight).
Three cards of one suit that are not in sequence (flush).
Two cards of the same rank plus one other card.
None of the above — the highest card decides.
Boot & deal
Everyone puts in a small boot amount of chips, then gets three face-down cards.
Blind or seen
Blind players have not looked at their cards; seen players have. Seen players generally bet double the blind stake.
Chaal, pack, show
Call or raise the stake (chaal), fold (pack), or when two remain ask for a show to compare hands.
