PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SERVICE AND CONDITIONS OF SALE BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. To enjoy all the benefits of the website, you can register and become a user with registered account. You can visit the site without registering. All users of this site agree that access and use of the site are subject to the following "Terms and Conditions" and "Legal Notice and Privacy" on the website and other applicable laws.
You agree that by using this website and registering to be a user, you are at least 18 years of age, or are visiting under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and you are legally able to enter into a contract of sale.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use, please do not use this site.
1. HOW TO BUY
If you want to buy at GU Planet, it will be easier by following these steps:
Choose the section of the store; we have ordered it by categories and families grouping the products.
Click on a product that interests you and you will access the product detail visualizing the full record with prices, photos, certificates, trademarks, product descriptions and features.
Select the item you are interested adding it to Cart by clicking the shopping cart icon (“Add to basket"). To select the amount you can enter it in the "Quantity" box and help yourself with icons + and -.
Now it is in the shopping cart. The same product is added as many times as you click on the button "Add to cart". You can then continue shopping or checkout by clicking "Shopping Cart" in the pop-up window above. During the purchase process, you can check to see the amount of your acquisitions and the breakdown of taxes included in the price (VAT). Instead, the surcharge, which in principle is only an estimation, or gratuity in transport, are only detailed in order once you have completed the registration, depending on where the shipment is due.
If you want to continue shopping, you can browse through the different sections and repeat the process of purchasing products whenever you want; but if you want to arrange the purchase, click "Proceed to Checkout".
Check your order and go to the next steps in the process. Log in to your account if you are already registered, or if it is your first purchase, sign up to create an account.
Once you have entered your details, check that they are correct and click "Register". At the mail address you have entered, you will receive an email with the following message: "Thank you for creating a customer account in GU Planet" (if you do not receive the activation email within a few minutes, it may be in your Spam Inbox since it is the first time we establish contact).
Make sure the "Delivery address" and billing data are correct. You can add new shipping addresses to receive your order at work, or to send to friends, family, or simply to an address other than the usual. Choose the delivery option of your order that suits you in "Shipping Mode" and in the next step select the "Payment mode" (See details in the PAYMENT / Secure Payment sections). This way you will have finished placing your order, which will be sent as soon as possible in agreement with the options you have chosen.
Buy online from any country
Currently, you can purchase in Spain.
In any case, see the conditions and shipping prices to countries that are not on the European continent or countries adjacent to the location of our warehouse in SPAIN.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, GU Planet has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed with the products listed at the incorrect price, if the order has been confirmed and your credit card debit or credit card has been charged.
If your bank or credit card has already made the payment for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will immediately send a credit to your bank account or credit card with the amount of the purchase.
Usually, most of the products shown on the web have immediate availability, and GU Planet strives, in that sense, in everything depending on the provision that their suppliers ensure. However, when there is no stock or that it is limited, you can check the availability of a given product in the information displayed on the detail page for that product. The non-immediate availability of a product is determined as follows:
3 or 4 days, 2 or 3 weeks To Be Confirmed.
If an item is not in stock or your order is above the current stock you cannot buy it immediately but in the deadline. Products with low production or distribution, limited, or subject to seasonal variations, appear labelled as "To be confirmed".
If you have questions about the availability of a product that is of your interest, you can send an email through the link "Contact" and get more detailed information about it.
You will get the same product you have seen by photo and description of the website, but it may be the case that the product received is not in the same language you've chosen on the web because the manufacturer does not label the product on that language. In this sense, GU Planet strives for, as a customer, you feel close and comfortable while browsing and interested in what we offer, and therefore, we provide the full translations of the names and descriptions of the products, whether in LANGUAGE 1, LANGUAGE 2, or LANGUAGE X, depending on your convenience.
News and Updates
If you wish, you can receive information with GU Planet news and updates in your e-mail using the "Subscribe" button of the Newsletter "Newsletter" and entering your personal data. You will receive information on the latest GU Planet news, promotions, news or events.
2. REGISTRATION / MY ACCOUNT
Create an account
Before placing an order, you have to open an account. This will allow you to make your subsequent orders more quickly and have the shipments tracking.
To create an account, click "My Account" and then complete the data you are requested.
Enter your email and choose your password
It must be a valid e-mail address and a password of at least 8 characters including at least one number and one letter.
You are solely responsible for protecting the security and confidentiality of your password and identification. You must immediately notify GU Planet of any unauthorized use of your password or identification or any other violation or threat of violation of the security of this site.
How can you recover your forgotten password
If you do not remember your password or username, you can retrieve them in the section "My account". We will send you an email message with your new password, which you can change later.
Authorized password access
Each time you use your password or identification, you will be considered authorized to access and use the site in a manner consistent with these Terms of Service and Terms of Sale and GU Planet has no obligation to investigate the authorization or source of any such access or use of the site.

As a registered user, you can accept emails that promote offer (s), including offers from third parties.
To receive these communications must select the boxes in the "Create an Account", or if already registered, you can do so through "My Account" > "Personal Data."

3. MY ORDER
Check your purchase has been made correctly
Once done your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive it, look in your spam inbox or contact us at email@example.com
To know what state is my order
When receiving your order in GU Planet we send an e-mail and every time it changes its condition we proceed likewise.
In the "My Account" section you can view the status of your orders at any time.
Remove a product from my order
Access the "Basket". Inside "Show order", you can delete items that you do not want, provided that you not complete the order.
If the order has not changed state, you can cancel your order from the "Contact" section of the website or by GU Planet phone number 606 77 74 65.
Receiving a defective item
In GU Planet, we care that items arrive in perfect condition. If exceptionally comes a product with a defect, please contact us via the contact form on "Contact" page or through the GU Planet phone number 606 77 74 65. (See refunds paragraph)
Receiving a wrong item
If you received at one time, by mistake, an article that you have not ordered contact us via the contact form on the "Contact" page or by GU Planet phone on 606 77 74 65 GU. (See refunds paragraph)
In GU Planet, you have the most common forms of payment: credit or debit card, Visa and MasterCard, and PayPal.
You can complete the transaction through the payment gateway using the "Credit Card" option and filling in all the necessary information to make such payment in complete safety since the operation is protected (see SSL security certificate below).
If you prefer to make the operation through PayPal, this service is responsible for collecting data and making the transaction, also via a secure system of protection against fraud.
Can your credit card be rejected?
Your card may be rejected for the following reasons:
The card may have expired. Check that your card does not exceed the validity date.
It could be that you have reached the limit of the card. Check with your bank you have not exceeded the allowable amount for that card.
Maybe some entered data is incorrect. Check that you have correctly filled in all the necessary fields.
Your card may not be operational to make online purchases. Contact your bank to activate this service.
The Tax-Free is not possible since it applies only to products purchased in a physical store and transported by one.
Secure payment using my credit card on the web
The Virtual POS Terminal of BANK is located in a secure SSL environment. The data is transmitted encrypted, which guarantees the confidentiality of your data. (You can see the protocol of the SSL security certificate below).
Exchange or banking charges
Any bank or exchange charges will be at your expense. You can negotiate with your bank.
GU Planet is committed to deliver the product in perfect conditions to the address indicated by the customer. In order to optimize the delivery process, it must be one in which delivery can be made during normal business hours.
Track the status of your order
You can see the status of your order through the "History and details of my orders" link on "My Account" page.
We will send you an e-mail confirmation of shipping (when your order will leave our company) and another one with a tracking number. In the case of courier shipments we need someone to receive the package at home. If this is not possible, please provide the address of your work, a relative or a friend, and remember to warn them.
Receipt of your order by courier
You can receive it in the direction you choose: home, work, etc., but never a PO Box or APO / FPO / BFPO military addresses.
The carrier needs a physical address for delivery, along with a phone number.
Send gifts to people in other locations or countries
It is another possibility for you.
During the purchase process, shipment data are requested, and you will have to select a delivery address. Default (same customer data) or add a new shipping address:
Simply add the new address.
In the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or countries other than Spain, follow the rules defined by customs.
You must create an account with all tax details of the addressee. The order must be filled with the recipient's name and in the currency of the country of delivery.
We also need your confirmation, as well as credit card data and a phone number.
Can you stop a shipment that has already left the GU Planet facilities?
That is not possible. Once an order has already left our factory for delivery to the customer, we have no chance to stop it.
All products have a transport insurance included in the price. When the material is received, you must make the corresponding status check, and if deficiencies are found you must make a claim within a period of 24-48 hours (working days) from the receipt thereof. Otherwise, GU Planet declines all responsibility.
Remember that any incident detected on receipt of the goods must be clearly stated, and you must complain to the courier or postal worker at the time of delivery.
If the package is opened or broken, do not admit it, or insurance will not pay the incidence.
All orders destined for the Iberian Peninsula effected before 12:00 pm leave the same day and are delivered within 24 hours. Orders placed after 12:00 pm will leave the next working day, and will be delivered within the next 24 hours (in working days). Orders shipped to Balearic and Canary Islands have a delivery time between 7 and 15 days.
The postal and courier companies guarantee these lead times we hire, and they also rely on our suppliers. However, they are indicative, considering that besides being a service offered by third parties, there are aspects such as inclement weather, delayed communications, traffic, major causes, etc. we can not control. Even so in GU Planet, we do our best to ensure the availability of our products to send them within the specified time period.
Should a delay occur, it does not imply the cancellation of the order or any compensation. We will notify you by email and ship the product as soon as possible. If you have ordered several products, you may have them arriving separately.
You must check the availability of the products before placing your order.
Delivery times depend on the shipment type and stock variants. When the product is in stock ( "immediate" availability) or reach the end of availability recorded in the web ( "3 or 4 days", "2 or 3 weeks," "TBC") the order will be sent immediately and you will receive it the time specified by the chosen shipment mode.
If your order, or part of it, is linked to the "To Be Confirmed" status you will receive an e-mail with the confirmation information when the product is in our hands and is about to be sent. Or another e-mail to alert if it is not possible for us to send the order.
In the latter case, if you had paid the product, the amount will be returned in the form of a voucher.
When an order contains several products with different availability may happen that you receive them in different shipments. This is not going to incur any additional expense if the shipment is destined within Spain or Portugal or the metropolitan United Kingdom.
In the case of an order to any of the other international destinations, it will be sent when all products of this order are available.
You can also choose whether to assume the costs of shipment duplicity, or cancel the product which delays forwarding by having a longer period of availability.
In any case, you will receive periodic e-mails about the state or change of status of your order.
Any shipment within the Peninsula will cost 5 euros. The cost of shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla will depend on the weight of the cart, and the customs retentions must be added to the lead times. For these cases, we recommend to write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the products you want to receive (named as they appear on the web), indicating the zip code of the place, your e-mail and your phone, and we will contact you shortly to give you a quote.
Shipping costs appear properly detailed during the purchase process in "View Order", first as an estimate and then, once you have entered your shipping address and filled the rest of the form, with the actual price. Anyway, you can always see the total order, including transport amount, before process it.
Shipments to the Iberian Peninsula have no cost provided they are orders over 35 euros. For shipments to the islands, please consult customer service. In the free delivery, we reserve the right to send the orders by the most appropriate means of transport at any time in our sole discretion.
Do you have to pay something to the package delivery?
Deadline to make a return.
We accept product returns within the first 14 days from the date of receipt (provided that the conditions governing the Law 47/2002 of trade management be met).
To return a defective or wrong item
The products can always return as they are in perfect condition and are returned in their original packaging; after 14 days we cannot accept returns.
In the case where the package or the product has been opened and it has identified a manufacturing defect or error in shipment preparation (and only in these cases), send us an email and we will attend to it email@example.com soon as possible to explain the return process.
The customer must bear the cost of returning until the moment GU Planet has made the necessary checking. In the event that the return is justified, the transport costs of the return will be refunded, adding the amount to the coupon payment.
When and how the amount of your refund will be received
Upon receipt of the material in our warehouse and reviewed by our staff, the payment will be made, if appropriate, being deducted from your next purchase using a coupon for the amount thereof.
GU Planet reserves the right to refuse returns communicated or sent after the deadline, or products that are not in the same condition in which they were received.
